Hi 👋 I read the letter by the young man who is attracted to his best friend. Depending on how conservative the country he lives in it might be wise to first feel him out about his thoughts regarding the gay community before coming out. Some countries punish bring gay through arrest, torture and even murder. Just my thoughts 💭

I’m going to quote Katya back to her here: “self-esteem is created by doing esteemable acts”. I think we can all relate to not feeling great about ourselves but I’m going to need y’all to take your own advice. Easier said than done I know but sometimes you’re both so hard on yourselves! Truly what’s helped me is adopting a neutral position on my appearance and focusing on what I appreciate about myself that doesn’t relate at all to how I look. I recommend it!

And I know since self-esteem comes from within hearing about all of your great qualities from those who admire you isn’t going to help. BUT if the suggestion here is to fake it till you make it and try to take advantage of life while you got it, maybe add in some of those esteemable acts for yourselves while you’re at it! Couldn’t hurt.
